Hexies' story.....

Christmas holidays are very busy days for me and I have a quite moment in the evening, when I "slump"on my sofa. But.....I can't twiddle one's thumbs! So, I take my hexies, lovely but ...infinite work!
Now, I have 74 "rosettes" and about 180 hexies ready to sew together.
I'll need 162 rosettes and....I don't know how many red hexies between a rosetta and the other.
For the moment I want to finish all coloured hexies then... I'll calculate red ones.

Little by little......

I had the course in hexagons last february with my teacher Nichi. She tought me a very simple tecnique to make hexagons.......so I began to work!

I like make hexagons because you sew them by hand: you can stay on your sofa, can listen music or talk with someone....and at the same time you sew, or cut the paper or cut the fabrics!

Little by little, hexagons by hexagons, your top will grow!

When I will have done enough pieces, they will become a beautiful top for a quilt!
